The EFC Mairang organised a workshop on sustainable development on 13th and 14th June, 2013 at Nongkrem Village and Pyrda Village respectively. Issues arising out of traditional cultivation practices such as broomgrass cultivation and the need to preserve and protect the flora and fauna of the region was addressed.
Deliberations on unsustainable farming practices was made with the participation of Line Depatment Officers, students and the villagers.
