On seeing the suitability of the region and the availability of unused resources in and around his area, Bah Micheal Shadap, an educated youth from Thadnongiaw Village wanted to cultivate mushroom. He approached the EFC with the idea to not only start cultivation but also to train and encourage others to take up this livelihood activity. After the EFC had arranged for training in mushroom and spawn production, he has been able to start with mushroom cultivation. For now, he plans to carry on with the business.
