Kong Plantina Mujai a resident of Khweng village and a local tea stall owner came to register in the EFC for training in mushroom cultivation. She had some prior knowledge on mushroom cultivation and had previously tried her hand at cultivating mushroom on her own. The EFC sent her to undergo training in mushroom cultivation. After receiving the training she has since built a shed, produced her own spawn and cultivated mushroom in around 70 blocks per batch. Now she supplies mushroom to customers whom are mostly from Shillong at the rate of Rs 250/kg and occasionally, gives training to some of her interested customers on how to cultivate mushroom.
