Kong Queency Makri a resident of Thadnongiaw village registered in the EFC for training in food & snacks preparation. Her tea stall in the village has been opened for 10 years and she usually sells traditional local snacks which other tea stalls sell. Her shop is situated on the roadside and is ½ km away from her home. Prior to the training, Kong Queency’s shop would produce a profit of roughly Rs 200 to 300 per day. Once she returned from the training in fast food preparation at RRTC, she started introducing new dishes and her profit doubled. She manages the shop along with her children and it opens every day.
