Kong Trilinda Nongneng, a resident of Umran Niangbyrnai registered with the EFC for training in poultry management. She was sent to RRTC Umran for the same. On returning from the training, she approached the SBI, Umsning for financial assistance to rear poultry and received a loan of Rs 50,000 from which she started rearing 300 birds (Broiler). After two batches she was able to repay her loan. She hopes to take a loan again from the bank and rear more birds in the months to come.
