Lucia Wahlang a resident of Umsning-A is a registered partner of Umsning EFC and had applied for the Women Economic Empowerment through Financial Inclusion (WEEFI) Scheme through Meghalaya Cooperative Apex Bank, Umsning. She has used the funds which she received as loan components over two installments to set up poultry farming and goatery. She used the financial component to set up a poultry farm of 300 birds and bought two goats with the remaining money. She is thankful for the WEEFI Scheme and has also been able to repay her first installment.
